Euromaritime 2024
- Type: Conference/Seminar
Event Overview:
Euromaritime 2024
The cyber threat in the maritime sector is a growing concern due to the increased reliance of maritime activities on technology and navigation systems. Hackers can target navigation systems, port management systems, shipboard communications systems, and security control systems. This can lead to disruptions to maritime activities, delays and additional costs, as well as a loss of confidence in the security of maritime systems. It is therefore important for stakeholders in the maritime sector to take measures to strengthen cybersecurity and protect their business against cyber threats. Euromaritime is setting up a SEA-ITsecurity space which will offer both cybersecurity solutions and the latest digital applications applicable to many areas of the maritime industry and economy.
