Development of clean fuels
Alexander added: “This deal means that ships will be incentivised to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, driving forward the development of clean fuels. Measures agreed this week will help the whole sector decarbonise and support developing countries, ensuring a just transition for all."
“Combined, our international and domestic work will help establish the UK as a clean energy superpower and will kickstart economic growth through investment in clean fuels and technologies.”
