Roy Nouhra is a businessman, investor, and engineer. He is the founder and CEO of Ocean Craft Marine, the manufacturer of a world-class line of purpose-built professional and recreational Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs), based in Annapolis, Maryland, and Asis Boats, a global market leader in the design and manufacture of advanced Rigid Hull Inflatable boats and Inflatables for the professional mariner, based in the United Arab Emirates. Roy has expertise in manufacturing, global distribution, and supply-chain management.  Roy is also the Co-CEO of Solico Group, an industrial and contracting company, the CEO of Solico Aluminum, the world leader in the manufacture and installation of aluminum building products and skylights, and the CEO of Solico Trading, the exclusive distributor of Viking appliances in the United Arab Emirates.  Roy is a board member and founding partner of SWS, the world’s biggest wakeboard and snowboard OEM in the world. Roy is an involved member of the Harvard Business School Alumni and a mentor at Endeavor UAE, a non-profit that supports high-impact entrepreneurs in their scaling-up journey.  Roy was the President of the Entrepreneur Organization (EO) United Arab Emirates Chapter, a network for entrepreneurs, which helps entrepreneurs learn through peer-to-peer learning and connections to experts in 2019-2020. Today, he is still an active member. He was instrumental in the agreement joining EO United Arab Emirates and the United Nations Global Compact to maintain its commitment to the sustainability of all its events. By joining the United Nations Global Compact, EO United Arab Emirates is part of the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, committing itself to aligning its operations with the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact.   In 2015, Roy received the Entrepreneur of the Year award at the Gulf Capital SME Awards. Roy is active in bringing Crohn’s disease awareness to the Middle East. He climbed Kilimanjaro and Everest to base camp to show people with Crohn’s disease that nothing is impossible.  Roy earned both Engineering and Master’s degrees with honors from George Washington University. He also completed the OPM 42 at Harvard Business School.
