Resolve Marine, a pioneer in ship and vessel salvage, rescue, emergency response, and specialised marine services, announces two executive appointments: Randy Moreau joins the company as Chief Financial Officer and Patrick Porter, Chief Human Resources Officer. Mr. Moreau oversees approximately 30 employees across financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, purchasing, legal and project coordination. Mr. Porter leads a team of seven across talent development, recruiting, human resource business partners and employee benefits. Several interim-CFO positions An accomplished financial executive, Mr. Moreau has over 20 years of professional experience and brings to the role deep expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, enterprise level risk management, compliance, process re-engineering, M&A and ERP integration. Mr. Moreau is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant He has lived and worked in the United States and Latin America, has worked across a range of industries, and has held several interim-CFO positions. He most recently served as Chief Accounting Officer at Kelley Kronenberg and prior to that was an adjunct professor at the University of Florida in Miami. Mr. Moreau holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy, a Master of Accountancy and Corporate Reporting and an MBA from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Mr. Moreau is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. Strategies and business transformation Patrick Porter joined Resolve Marine as Chief Human Resources Officer in March 2023. A collaborative leader, Mr. Porter brings a track record of steering global, enterprise-wide people strategies and business transformation. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the U.S. and Germany and has worked at DHL Group, American Automobile Association, PNC Bank, Wendy’s International and Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Porter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA from University of Kentucky. Resolve Marine, a globally renowned company in ship and vessel salvage, rescue, emergency response, and specialised marine services, has announced the opening of a new warehouse and operations facility in Tacoma, Washington, USA. Resolve Marine has also appointed Chad Kasin as Pacific Northwest Facility Manager. The new facility expands the company’s successful marine services business in Alaska into the Seattle/Tacoma area, and will serve clients across ship husbandry, marine construction, emergency and environmental response and salvage projects. Commercial diving and underwater welding and inspection are one of many service offerings. Chad Kasin has nearly 30 years of experience in operations, management, commercial diving, and marine construction. He started his diving career in the U.S. Navy, and after 10 years of honourable service, branched into the civilian sector for saturation diving positions in the U.S. Gulf and overseas. Extensive industry experience Most recently, Chad was the Chief Operating Officer for an east coast marine construction company, prior to that, he was a General Manager for a west coast diving and salvage company. To lead the effort from the Washington D.C. area, retired Navy Capt. Gregg Baumann has been appointed Government Program Manager. In this newly created role, Baumann is responsible for developing strategy and objectives to grow the company’s government services business, with a primary focus on the United States and Canada. Government business development Gregg Baumann will also oversee government business development and project mobilisation and de-mobilisation, personnel supervision, vessel operations, salvage and diving operations and logistics. He brings decades of experience in both the naval and maritime industries. Having served as naval diving officer and the U.S. Navy’s Director of Ocean Engineering, Supervisor of Salvage and Diving, Gregg Baumann led numerous national and international maritime salvage disaster responses during his military career. After retiring from the military, he joined CACI Inc. as a Senior Program Manager in the Training and Warfighter Readiness group, leading their Foreign Military Sales. He then joined Thales Defense and Security as Director of Program Management for Systems Solutions where he oversaw the management and manufacture of domestic and international defence products. International defence products Baumann graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering Gregg Baumann graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School.
