OXE Marine. Inc (US), a subsidiary of OXE Marine AB, has received an order totaling USD 5.8m, to supply a United States Governmental Agency, (the Agency). The scope of supply of the order includes 40 units of the company’s low-emission diesel OXE outboard engines, rigging accessories, spare parts, and lifecycle support as well as rigging and installation services to be performed to the fleet of vessels being fitted with OXE engines. Installation services All products are planned for delivery in 2023 with the installation services to be carried out over 2024. The order was placed by a private contractor in the United States, which received the award to deliver the equipment to the Agency. 50% of the order (approximately USD 2.9m) will be paid in advance during the early stages of the project, and this advance payment is expected to be received during Q3 and Q4 2023. The Board of Directors of OXE Marine AB (OXE Marine / the ‘Company’) has resolved to appoint Paul Frick as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effectively from Monday, 29th May, 2023, following the resignation of Anders Berg, who will stay on for a smooth transition period. Jonas Wikström, Chairman of the Board, OXE Marine, said “We are very pleased with the appointment of Paul Frick as the new CEO of OXE Marine. In his role as CFO, he has done a fantastic job in managing the company’s finances and played a vital part in improving the company’s financial position, as well as engaging with the company’s shareholders and investor community.” OXE Marine appoints Paul Frick as new CEO Paul Frick was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of OXE Marine AB in 2019 Jonas Wikström adds, “Paul has also been actively involved in commercial operations working closely and gaining the trust of our customers in the marine sector. We are excited to have him assume the role of CEO and we are confident that he is the right person to manage and to continue the development of the company, following on from Anders who has decided to move on.” Paul Frick was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of OXE Marine AB in 2019 and has been Head of Commercial Operations since 2022, including taking on responsibility for sales in the Nordic region. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has held several commercially orientated finance roles in his career. Paul Frick has been a part of the OXE journey over the past four years, during which time, the company has taken significant steps forward. Extensive industry experience Paul Frick stated, “I am very honoured to assume the role as CEO and continue the development of OXE. In recent years the company has undergone several changes and has made solid progress in industrialising the business.” He adds, “I look forward to continuing the good work carried out by my colleagues, an extremely passionate and dedicated team. OXE Marine AB launches their first product configurator. This new tool allows end customers to easily configure and customise their OXE Diesel Outboard, to meet their specific needs and requirements. The configuration is gathered in a downloadable PDF for future reference. With the OXE Diesel Product Configurator, customers can easily select their desired power output, shaft length and other specifications to create the perfect outboard for their specific application. The user-friendly interface makes it simple for anyone to design and configure their own OXE outboard, with real-time pricing, charts on fuel savings and emission reduction, available at the click of a button. OXE Marine’s diesel outboards, OXE Diesel OXE Marine’s diesel outboards, OXE Diesel, have significantly lower fuel consumption than their gasoline counterparts and can also run on biodiesel such as HVO100. When OXE Marine tested a twin installation of their OXE300 motors on a Nimbus T11 boat last year, the gasoline installation of the same power class showed 50 percent higher fuel consumption. Furthermore, when the two OXE300 from OXE Marine were operated on HVO100 biodiesel, carbon dioxide emissions were reduced by up to 92%, when compared to the gasoline installation.
