The acquisition of ESA Service S.r.l, (ESA Service), a company designing and manufacturing leak detection and gas recovery systems, has been completed and the company has become part of Atlas Copco Group.  ESA Service is headquartered at its manufacturing location in Treviglio, Italy. The company has 40 employees and in 2023 revenues amounted to 10.3 MEUR (MSEK 118). The purchase price is not disclosed. The company has become part of the Scientific Vacuum division within the Vacuum Technique Business Area. 

Pennine Pneumatic Services Limited (PPS), a compressed air distributor in Yorkshire, UK, has become part of Atlas Copco Group. PPS is based in Brighouse in Yorkshire, England, and was founded in 1991, but also has branches in Sheffield, Hull, Leigh, and Alfreton. The company has 84 employees across the five locations. Energy-saving advice and solutions PPS offers energy-saving advice and solutions to manufacturers and other industries with applications that rely on compressed air and related systems and services. This includes compressors, gas generators, chillers, pneumatics, pipework, ducting, and assembly tools. Customers are found in all types of manufacturing industries, such as automotive and rail, chemical, construction, and engineering, as well as food & beverages. Sales and service presence “PPS showcases strong sales and service presence in the North of England which will open additional opportunities for us going forward,” said Philippe Ernens, Business Area President of Compressor Technique. The purchase price is not disclosed. PPS has become part of the Service division within the Compressor Technique business area.

The business of Air Way Automation Ltd (Air Way), a supplier of automated bolt-feeding solutions to the automotive and general industries, has become part of Atlas Copco Group. Air Way is headquartered in Michigan, USA, and has 98 employees. Automation acquisition “This acquisition complements one of our recent acquisitions and will further strengthen Industrial Technique’s offering in the area of automation,” said Henrik Elmin, Business Area President for Industrial Technique. The purchase price is not disclosed. During 2023 the company had revenues of approximately 35 MUSD (370 MSEK). Air-Way becomes part of the Motor Vehicle Industry Tools and Assembly Systems division within the Industrial Technique Business Area.
