WEG’s family of electronically commutated motors (ECMs) now has a wider power range with the release of the W30 Smart EC line. The W30 Smart EC was developed to solve different types of motor fan applications, such as exhaust and ventilation systems for poultry houses, parking lots, tunnels and industrial kitchens, where comfort and reliability are essential.
The W30 Smart EC is an electric motor with an aluminium frame and IP55 protection rating, which means the motor is protected against dust and water. The drive, built into the NDE endshield, provides electronic protection against overload, temperature and locked rotor.
TEAO ventilated motors
With the expansion of the scope, TEAO ventilated motors are available up to 7.5 kW and TENV motors up to 2.5 kW. Automatic and manual speed variation is possible with easy connection, and, in combination with permanent magnets, the W30 Smart EC reaches the IE5 efficiency level—the best index on the market, ensuring airflow flow with lower electricity consumption and reduced impact on the environment.
