Waves Group are pleased to announce it has secured the Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) contract for the third phase of the Dogger Bank Wind Farm development – Dogger Bank C. 

This is our third win of the three project phases as they are currently providing MWS services for Dogger Bank A and B, which are currently under construction. Once the three phases are complete, Dogger Bank will be the largest offshore wind farm in the world.

Offshore marine consultancy

In total it is expected to generate around 18 TWh annually, enough to power six million UK homes, which equates to 5% of the UK electricity demand. The project is a joint venture between SSE Renewables (40%), Equinor (40%), and Eni (20%) and is located 130 km off the coast of England.

Dogger Bank C will connect to the National Grid at the existing Lackenby Substation in Teesside. They are pleased to be involved in the construction of all three phases of the project which further reinforces their position as an offshore marine consultancy within the offshore wind industry.
