Teknotherm Marine España S.L., a part of Teknotherm, has announced landing its first newbuilding contract. Teknotherm Marine España S.L. will deliver the complete HVAC, including installation work, on a suction dredger, which is to be built by Nodosa Shipyard (Nodosa Group).

Omvac Catorce suction dredger

Nodosa Shipyard will build and design the 63.3 metres suction dredger, called Omvac Catorce, for Canlemar s.l.

The Canlemar firm is dedicated to carrying out all kinds of maritime works

The Canlemar firm is dedicated to carrying out all kinds of maritime works, such as deepening and maintenance dredging in ports and bays, and construction of docks. Omvac Catorce is the third dredger that Canlemar s.l. has ordered with Nodosa Shipyard.

Omvac Catorce will have a dredging capacity of 1200 cubic metres and a dredging depth of 30 metres. The ship accommodates a crew of 10.

Compliance with IMO TIER III regulations

The ship, Omvac Catorce, will comply with the IMO TIER III regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), regarding the control and reduction of polluting and greenhouse emissions.

With its adaptation to these regulations, this suction dredger will be able to navigate and operate anywhere in the world.
