Swathe Services are pleased to announce that Cyrus Mills has joined their growing team as Sales & Technical Support Manager.

Work experience

Cyrus joins Swathe Services with an MSc in Hydrographic Surveying from University College London, and 11 years of extensive practical and technical experience in nearshore and offshore surveying.

Working up to the roles of Party Chief and Client Representative, operating in various locations and environments, Cyrus has been responsible for mobilising and calibrating equipment, carrying out data acquisition, and providing survey technical support.

Responsibilities

Bringing technical expertise to this role, Cyrus will be offering support and solutions to our current and future customers. His extensive knowledge of survey operations and experience with survey equipment will help him to drive sales forward, ensuring a prosperous future for Swathe Services.

It’s been a busy few weeks for Cyrus, it’s seen him working on current projects and then traveling to Ocean business 2021 with the team to represent Swathe Services.

Cyrus’ comments

Cyrus says, “As a surveyor who was brought up in Newlyn, Cornwall, I have worked away for the last 11 years.”

I have got to a stage in my career and personal life where a move to a more permanent base back home is something that is proving ever more important. This along with a company whose objectives and goals appear to be aligned with my own are why I applied to work at Swathe Services.”
