Sirius Insight announces that the Rt Hon Lord Reid of Cardowan has joined the company’s Advisory Board.

In this role, Lord Reid will support Sirius Insight as the business seeks opportunities in international markets to deploy its transformative maritime domain awareness technology.

Lord Reid was a Member of Parliament for over twenty years, during which time he served in Government across a range of security-related portfolios, including as Home Secretary, Secretary of State for Defence, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Transport Minister and Armed Forces Minister.

Malcolm Glaister, Chief Executive Officer of Sirius Insight, said: “We are delighted to welcome Lord Reid on board as a senior advisor to Sirius, who has the stature and wealth of experience that only a former Home Secretary, Defence Secretary and Northern Ireland Secretary can possess."
