Records are already being broken at Nor-Shipping 2023… six months before the doors open.

That’s the latest from Norwegian Maritime Exporters, who inform us that their ever-popular Team Norway Pavilion has already sold out, with the largest area ever, featuring the greatest ever number of national exhibitors. “I think visitors are going to meet a hugely enthusiastic, unique maritime business cluster in its prime!” states Bjørg Ekornrud, Marketing and Project Manager at NME.

Top tier companies

The Team Norway Pavilion is always one of the top draws at Nor-Shipping, showcasing the very latest innovations, products and services from top tier companies on their ‘home turf’. But this year, Ekornrud explains, should offer something truly special.

The Team Norway Pavilion is always one of the top draws at Nor-Shipping

This is the first time on record we’ve had an area larger than 2,000 sqm and it’s already full,” she exclaims, adding that a total of 2,335 sqm of space in Hall C has now been secured. “There’s 69 exhibitor stands in total, but, when you take in account co-exhibitors, there’s close to 100 companies represented. So, the interest really has been unprecedented.”

Ocean decision makers

We’re still getting enquiries now, but we’re trying to look ahead to 2025 already as there’s simply not enough space to go round. We’re really sorry we can’t fit everyone in, but we’re also delighted it’s proven to be so popular. I don’t think I’m the only one that can’t wait until June!”

Ekornrud adds that the pavilion will see a number of new exhibitors keen to connect with ocean decision makers, underlining Nor-Shipping’s importance as ‘a key industry meeting place.’ Alongside the cream of Norwegian industry, exhibitors and their guests will also be able to experience excellent food and drink in the stylish, relaxed NME Explorers’ Lounge area. See you there in June!
