The Company takes pride in its continuous improvement approach and applies knowledge gained from its performance in future target setting. This has also led to positive and improved ratings in sustainability benchmarks.
Three world-class ESG-rating agencies- S&P Global, Sustainalytics, and CDP- have again recognised SBM Offshore’s performance in 2021. Sustainalytics rated SBM Offshore #1 among industry peers, reporting that it moved up from the 91st to 93rd percentile.
Awards and recognitions
S&P Global recognised SBM Offshore as an “Industry Mover”, highlighting the improved sustainability performance and the great strides made in being an industry pioneer. Alongside this designation, SBM Offshore has also been granted the Sustainability Award ‘Silver Class’ moving us from 93rd to 95th percentile.
CDP reported that SBM Offshore is “taking climate action” (i.e. a ‘B’ score). The award from S&P Global positions SBM Offshore amongst six Dutch-based firms with this distinction.
