Greenock and KGV ports, part of Peel Ports’ Clydeport Cluster, have reached a significant milestone by achieving ISO-9001 re-certification. What makes this achievement even more noteworthy is that the scope of the certification has been extended to include Dublin Port.

The re-certification process for ISO-9001 involves thoroughly evaluating an organisation’s quality management systems, ensuring that they continue to meet the stringent requirements set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).

By incorporating Dublin Port into the ISO-9001 certification, Peel Ports ensures that all three major ports within the Clydeport Cluster – Greenock, KGV, and Dublin – are now ISO-9001 accredited and highlights the cluster's dedication to standardising quality practices across its operations.
Commenting on the achievement, Jim McSporran, Clydeport Port Director, says: “ISO-9001 re-certification is an important achievement that validates our approach towards delivering high-quality outcomes across the Clydeport cluster."

Implementing an Integrated Management System (IMS)
This certification is part of the cluster’s ongoing journey towards implementing an Integrated Management System (IMS) that aligns with three key standards: ISO-9001, ISO-14001, and ISO-45001.
