In June 2020 PARAT Halvorsen was awarded the contract to supply 2 x 17MW High Voltage Electrode Boilers for Lundin Energy Norway's platform Edvard Grieg.

PARAT has designed and manufactured a complex EX-certified boiler package for outdoor installation, and on 31.01.2022 the delivery protocol was signed by PARAT Halvorsen and Aker Solution.

Boiler installation on the deck

Aker Solution has delivered a structure that already has been installed at Edvard Grieg. All is ready for the boiler package to be installed on top of the new deck.

Cranes and supply vessel arrived at PARAT's facilities, and the boiler package was steadily lifted onboard. From PARAT's quay, the boiler package will be transported directly out to the platform and lifted onboard to the designated area.

Later in 2022 when the power from shore is ready, the heating medium system on Edvard Grieg will be heated by "Clean Technology" from PARAT Halvorsen in Flekkefjord.
