Steam will be delivered by PARAT’s MCS combined steam boiler utilising the exhaust heat and is equipped with an MDO atomizing burner. PARAT will also deliver 2 electrical heaters (250 and 400kW) for Hot Water.
Central heating system
The system will be delivered with a feed water tank, water treatment, heat exchangers, electrical heaters, pumps and surplus steam dumping system. All are controlled by a PARAT-designed PLC system. The steam system will be used for the trawlers processing plants, the electrical heaters will be used by the central heating system.
This is the fourth trawler PARAT deliver their MCS Combined Steam Boiler to Murueta Shipyards. The Stern Freezer Trawler is a Skipsteknisk ST-119 design, being built at Astilleros de Murueta Shipyard in Spain, and will be delivered to the owner Royal Greenland when finished.
