Pacific International Lines (PIL), Singapore’s containership operator, is proud to be part of Singapore’s 54th birthday celebrations by sponsoring 102 20-foot GP containers for the 2019 National Day Parade (NDP).

The 102 containers will be used for delivery of goods from different vendors to the parade venue at the Padang, and ensuring the safe storage of NDP props and NDP fun packs.

Home-grown shipping line

Mr Teo Siong Seng, Executive Chairman and MD of PIL said: “PIL is honoured to be celebrating Singapore’s birthday as this year marks the fourth year of our support in the NDP. I am heartened that Singapore and PIL have grown in tandem tremendously over the past decades, and we are privileged to be able to contribute to this meaningful day.”

The home-grown shipping line has been sponsoring containers for the parade every year, since 2015. “PIL wishes Singapore a happy 54th birthday and we look forward to many more successful years to come.” he said.
