OXE Marine AB has appointed MWM and Transmidiesel as new dealers for OXE Marine's diesel-powered outboards in Brazil and Colombia.

The appointment is made to strengthen OXE Marine's international expansion and means that the company is expanding its global network of dealers to Brazil and Colombia.

MWM and Transmidiesel

MWM manufactures engines that are used in, among other things, the automotive industry, and the agricultural sector as well as for power generation and marine applications.

Transmidiesel sells and services engines and equipment for a number of industries, including mining, shipping, agriculture, and industry.

International presence expansion

The company's diesel-powered outboards offer great fuel savings and are therefore a very attractive alternative

The appointment of the new dealers is part of OXE Marine's investment in increasing its international presence. The company's market-leading, diesel-powered outboards offer great fuel savings compared to gasoline-powered engines in corresponding power classes and are therefore a very attractive alternative for commercial boats as well as leisure boats.

"We see great international opportunities for our engines and South America is undoubtedly a very interesting market. There are large industries and customer groups here that demand precisely the characteristics our outboard engines offer, and are the only ones, to offer," says Anders Berg, CEO of OXE Marine AB.

Reduced carbon emissions

OXE Marine’s diesel outboards, OXE Diesel, have significantly lower fuel consumption than their gasoline counterparts and can also run on biodiesel such as HVO100. When OXE Marine tested a twin installation of their OXE300 motors on a Nimbus T11 boat in 2022, the gasoline installation of the same power class showed a 50 percent higher fuel consumption.

Furthermore, when the two OXE300 from OXE Marine were operated on HVO100 biodiesel, carbon dioxide emissions were reduced by up to 92% compared to the gasoline installation.
