Port Skills and Safety has joined Maritime UK., the umbrella body and collective voice for the UK’s £46.1bn maritime sectors.

The maritime industries come together through Maritime UK to make progress on key areas of shared interest. Maritime UK’s national priorities are people, competitiveness, regional growth, environment, and innovation.

The Workboat Association

Port Skills and Safety follows The Workboat Association, which was the latest organisation to join the national umbrella body in February. Maritime UK’s objectives are to champion and work to enable a thriving maritime sector.

It does this through a combination of industry coordination and campaigning coupled with its programmes in each priority area.

Port Skills and Safety are joining Maritime UK as an associate member

PSS is recognised by Government departments and agencies, including the Department for Transport, Health and Safety Executive and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. Port Skills and Safety are joining Maritime UK as an associate member. 

Port Skills and Safety's Chief Executive, Debbie Cavaldoro is co-chair of Maritime UK's Diversity in Maritime Taskforce.
