Pacific International Lines (PIL) hosted a vessel visit of the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) Chan Chun Sing and NTUC President and Singapore Maritime Officers' Union head MaryLiew onboard Kota Pekarang on 2 April 2018.

Latest vessel equipment

Kota Pekarang is a new 11,923-TEU container vessel plying the Red Sea service from Asia to the Middle East.

PIL Executive Chairman & Managing Director Mr. SS Teo, Captain Paliwal Ashwani Kumar, and the PIL team took the opportunity to show the latest equipment and amenities onboard the company’s new build.

It was a fruitful learning journey for Mr. Chan Chun Sing, Ms. Mary Liew, and the PIL staff.
