Partnering with Iridium two decades ago, complemented MetOcean’ s corporate focus to provide its clients

Partnering with Iridium two decades ago, complemented MetOcean’ s corporate focus to provide its clients; government entities, environmental agencies, educational institutes, and the public with an affordable, reliable, bi-directional satellite option.

The Iridium satellite constellation was the optimal satellite constellation solution to provide MetOcean’s clients and partners with true pole-to-pole connectivity.

Kyle MacInnis, MetOcean Business Development Manager, Ocean Systems, stated, “MetOcean Telematics is honoured to continue and expand its support of NOAA and its data telemetry requirements, as part of its mission to understand and predict changes in climate, weather, ocean, and coasts, to share that knowledge and information with others, and to conserve and manage coastal and marine ecosystems and resources.

MetOcean recognised for its dependability

Kyle MacInnis adds, “It is a major point of pride for MetOcean to be recognised for its dependability and dedication to ensure Iridium data from NOAA’s Ocean infrastructure is reliably and securely delivered.
