Fourteen of Mackay America’s Marine Service Technicians successfully completed Intellian Technologies’ rigorous hands-on and classroom-level training at Intellian’s purpose-built Irvine California Training Centre.

Thanks to Intellian for coordinating two Mackay training session weeks (July and August) to accommodate technicians from their primary Latin America (Brazil & Panama), Canadian (Yarmouth & Vancouver) and US Mackay locations (New York, Charleston, Miami, NOLA, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco & Seattle).

Reliable satellite connectivity

Completion of six pre-requisite Intellian online classes prepared their technicians to advance quickly to the higher-level in-person certification tutorials for installing, configuring, commissioning, and servicing a wide range of Intellian satellite terminals. Satellite systems included L-Band (FleetBroadband, Fleet One, Iridium Certus), Compact & NX Series VSAT, and TVRO Systems.

Intellian accreditation of Mackay Americas technicians is in concert with certifying the global service teams, preceded by Mackay APAC technicians (July 2022) and in parallel to scheduled Intellian training of our EMEA service technicians.

These efforts further enhance their global Mackay-Intellian sales and service partnership to better serve regional and global customers with reliable satellite connectivity.
