Iver Christian Olerud has been appointed the new Executive Vice President for Strategy and Business Development in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA.

Mr Olerud takes over from Harald Aarø, who was recently appointed head of the company's space division. He has a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from NHH Norwegian School of Economics and many years experience of in finance, M&A activities, and business development in international listed companies.

Olerud's work experience

He has most recently been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and also worked for many years for Telenor, where he among other things was responsible for the finances of the company's transformation programme and was CFO of Telenor Norway's B2B division. Mr. Olerud also has wide-ranging experience in Board of Directors work.
