Since 1 January 2021, the JRC/Alphatron Marine Iberia office has the responsibility for the sales of equipment, spares, training, certificates, technical support, warranties, CoC, and overviewing the trade network´s performance in the African market. From 2020 to 2021, the African partners have doubled their turnover.

JRC/Alphatron Marine could not have achieved this incredible increase without the excellent relationship with the loyal JRC distributors, who are representing the quality and know-how that JRC as a world-renowned brand stands for.

Expanding, adding services in Africa

Looking forward, JRC/Alphatron Marine Iberia wants to ensure local communities can rely on the expertise of its trusted brand anywhere in the world.

It intends to dynamise the African market by visiting existing and potential local customers, appointing new partners

Besides complying with the increased request for service to existing equipment, it also aims to introduce JRC/Alphatron Marine brands in new projects, shipowners, shipyards, and government tenders. To fulfill the demand and future vision, JRC/Alphatron Marine Iberia intends to dynamise the African market by visiting existing and potential local customers and appointing new partners when and where needed.

New distributor appointments

Case-to-case, the market situation, and potential new partner will be carefully studied, considering all implications, to determine a new partner's eligibility for being selected as a JRC distributor. A high standard of criteria will be maintained, meaning purchase performance is of the same importance as technical quality performance.

So far 4 new companies have been appointed in Africa in the last 12 months: Sarl Noramas in Algeria, Master Systems in Ghana, Mackay South Africa, and Radio Marine Morocco. New arrivals have demonstrated a clear commitment to JRC/Alphatron Marine Iberia with firm orders.
