The President of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), Joan Calabuig, will present at the World Ports Climate Action Program (WPCAP) summit the commitment to expand the leadership in decarbonisation and the fight against climate change that Valenciaport is carrying out ‘to the whole of our hinterland’.

Decarbonisation of the maritime and logistics industry

The President of the PAV has travelled to Rotterdam for the meeting of this working group

From the leadership we occupy for our work in the decarbonisation of the maritime and logistics industry, and as ports with a great commercial impact in our respective areas of influence, we are in a strategic position to advise and provide the necessary knowledge to other enclaves and companies in our area of influence on their path towards decarbonisation," explained Joan Calabuig in the run-up to the WPCAP summit.

The President of the PAV has travelled to Rotterdam for the meeting of this working group, which brings together 12 of the main ports in the world.

Specifically, in addition to Valenciaport, the following ports are members: Antwerp, Barcelona, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Le Havre, Long Beach, Los Angeles, New York/New Jersey, Rotterdam, Vancouver and Yokohama.
