HMM has announced that the company transported 23 TEU of containers, carrying medical oxygen supplies, since it started delivering COVID-related medical devices to India, on May 12, 2021.

The medical oxygen supplies mainly include medical grade oxygen, oxygen tanks, oxygen bottles, oxygen concentrators, steel pipes to manufacture oxygen cylinders, and associated equipment.

Medical equipment supply for India

As part of collaboration efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 infection in India, on May 12, 2021, HMM decided to carry any container with medical supplies and emergency relief goods to India, at a price of US$ 1. HMM also provides such cargo with container boxes and vessel spaces as a top priority to expedite the delivery process.

An HMM official said, “HMM will continue to make its utmost efforts to ensure fast transportation of medical supplies to India until the difficult situation in the country is over.
