 FESCO Transportation Group (FESCO) has welcomed another container ship, FS Ipanema to its fleet, as part of its fleet renewal programme. The vessel will continue to operate on the line between the ports of the United States of America (USA) and Venezuela, under the current contract.

The length of the container ship is 179.7 metres, the width is 27.6 metres, the deadweight is 25,902 tonnes and with the capacity of 1794 TEU. The container ship’s crew consists of 19 people with Dmitry Mazurov as the Captain of the vessel.

FS Ipanema is the sixth vessel to join the fleet of the FESCO Transportation Group, over the past year and a half. In 2020, FESCO welcomed universal bulk carriers, FESCO Uliss and FESCO Paris to its fleet, and in September and October 2021, the container ships - FESCO Yanina and FESCO Sofia, as well as the universal bulk carrier, FESCO Olga, were added to the fleet.
