SAIM Industrial chooses the international stage of EIMA International - Hall 15 - Stand D20 - to officially present its first integrated hybrid engine in P2 configuration, designed in-house.

The new integrated hybrid engine has been developed by the SAIM Research & Development Integrated Solutions Division.

Integrated hybrid engine

Set up at the end of 2022 to work on integrated hybrid solutions for various applications, the SAIM R. & D. Division focused on the needs of potential users and main international trends in the motor industry.

The integrated hybrid engine has undergone rigorous functional and stress tests on the company's test rig, where different parameters were measured including power and torque, according to the various engine usages.

Several applications

SAIM Industrial has already filed a patent application entitled ‘HYBRID ENGINE’ with the relevant offices

Very accurate endurance tests were followed to verify performance levels over time. All the tests produced excellent values, so much so that SAIM Industrial has already filed a patent application entitled ‘HYBRID ENGINE’ with the relevant offices.

SAIM Industrial's new integrated hybrid engine, developed in two different versions such as to satisfy several applications, proves to be extremely versatile as it can be used in diesel-only mode, harnessing a power output of 18.5 kW (thus requiring no exhaust gas after-treatment system), electric-only with 12.8 kW power, or in hybrid mode, that is, combining electric and endothermic motors for a maximum power output of more than 30 kW.

EIMA International 2024

For EIMA International 2024, the new integrated hybrid engine combines, for the endothermic component, the electronically controlled 18.5 kW Kubota D1105-K diesel engine, equipped with the exclusive TVCR combustion system, with a 48 V and a 12.8 kW electric motor by SAIM Industrial.

This configuration is therefore designed for small to medium-sized and compact machines used in agriculture and construction industries. Come and visit SAIM at EIMA - Pavilion 15 - Stand D20. Let’s drive sustainable innovation together!
