In September 2021, CULINES launched its South China – USWC TPC service, which has received broad attention and recognition in the market. After operation for over half a year, CULINES has recently announced to launch of its TP2.0 services, of which the upgraded TPC is the flagship.
The voyage MV RENJIAN 09 E2217 on May 5 at YICT would be the official launch. On this voyage, about 2,200 TEUs have been loaded at YICT, some of which are e-commerce cargoes of BCO customers with newly signed long-term contracts with CULINES.
TP2.0 features
The upgraded TPC service features the following advantages:
- Secured capacity: 7*4,250TEU RENJIAN series container vessels.
- Dedicated terminal: ETA each Sunday at fixed terminal and berth in a long-term contract with TraPac.
- POL: Xiamen/Nansha/Yantian. YICT ETB on Thursdays & ETD on Fridays directly to LA.
- Regular service: a weekly voyage with 16-day directly sailing from YICT to LA.
Premium and value-added services
CULINES joins hands with a US digital logistics partner on trucks and depots to provide a dedicated chassis pool for customised solutions:
- Peel pile from the terminal: faster pick-up for big customers from the terminal.
- Free flow from off-dock depot: faster pick-up from the off-dock depot for big customers.
- On-wheel from off-dock depot: chassis provided
The following value-added services are also available:
- Faster empty return: appointment-free and no laden pick-up requirement for most empty returns.
- Upgraded customer service: key account manager, dedicated customer service, online booking, inquiry, and payment to be provided step by step.
Well-established network
TPC service also accepts transshipment cargo from Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, India, and the Middle East
Besides South China, the TPC service also accepts transshipment cargos from Thailand (Bangkok/Laem Chabang), Vietnam (Haiphong/Ho Chi Minh), Taiwan (Taichung, Keelung, Kaohsiung), India, and the Middle East.
At the ceremony, Mr. Xici Lin (GM of Operation Services & Development at YICT) and client representative Mr. Gogo Gao (VP of LinkTrans Logistics) delivered remarks.
High-value cargo exports
Mr. Raymond Chen (Chairman & CEO of CULINES) and Mr. Lars Solbø Christiansen (CO-CEO of CULINES) in Singapore and Mr. Peter Stone (on behalf of TraPac) in the US sent videos to extend their gratitude and congratulations for the upgrading of the TPC service.
The upgraded TPC will serve as an expression for the export of high-value cargoes such as electronic products, mechanical equipment, and garments in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay Area, establishing a maritime logistics channel connecting YICT and the South China region at large with the US West Coast.
