Peters & May Commercial, also Commercial Marine Transport (CMT), a provider of global commercial shipping and logistics solutions, is proud to announce the launch of its new, dedicated website.

This launch comes in recognition of the commercial department's substantial growth since Peters & May first invested in the sector in 2016, aiming to better the customer experience and showcase its service offerings.

New website

Offering a tailored platform for all commercial clients and prospects, the new site acts as a central hub to explore services, request quotes, and engage with the CMT team more easily.

Commercial Marine Transport has grown significantly over the last eight years thanks to the expertise, dedication, and investment from Peters & May. Under the leadership of Robert Blades, the Global Sales Director, the division has reached great heights with sales figures exceeding budgets each year since 2016, and now accounting for over 10% of Peters & May’s total turnover.

Robert Blades' comments

Robert Blades, who has been a constant presence in the department, expressed his pride in the division.

Robert Blades said, "I am extremely proud of the growth and success we have seen within the commercial division. This year, we have worked on expanding our team, and now, by launching our website, we are showing our clients and the industry that the offshore commercial marine sector is handled differently, and clients are consulted on rational solutions."

Dedicated platform

Robert Blades adds, "While it is widely known that Peters & May ship yachts and boats, our commercial and offshore capabilities extend far beyond that. This website will serve as the dedicated platform allocated to this extended remit and for our extended clients to access further information."

He continues, "Our goal is to make it easier for clients to explore our services and to understand the depth of our expertise."

Optimising user experience

The website also details CMT’s wide range of loading and shipping techniques, including lift-on lift-off

The newly launched website has been designed to optimise the user experience by providing a comprehensive and streamlined customer journey into one central hub, where all essential information is accessible.

Visitors can find material on CMT’s extensive services, from passenger and offshore vessel transport to military and heavy-lift projects. The website also details CMT’s wide range of loading and shipping techniques, including lift-on lift-off, float-on float-off, heavy-lift cranes, and towage, to meet varied client needs.

Global shipping services

The division prides itself on its ability to ship any floating structure and meet any logistical challenges with precision and professionalism. This website will be the perfect platform for CMT to share its successes, enabling potential clients to explore case studies and read first-hand how CMT consistently delivers industry-pioneering solutions.

With the continued investment in people, technology, and services, Peters & May Commercial’s move to Commercial Marine Transport as a division of the Peters & May Group continues to cement its position and reputation as a trusted partner in the global shipping industry.
