For years, reefer transport and logistics have been vital activities for Blue Water Shipping. The acquisition of Freightway International will strengthen Blue Water's focus on the Canadian and North Atlantic markets.

Expansion of services

"It is an essential strategic step for us to get Blue Water facilities and an office in Canada. It will allow us to expand our current range of services to the Canadian markets and with the acquisition of Freightway International, we get a strong foothold in an important segment for us."

"We are pleased to welcome the entire Freightway team to be part of Blue Water," states Frank Madsen, Global Director of Reefer Sea, Blue Water Shipping.
