Ahlsell Sverige AB has entered into an agreement to acquire all shares in Bilco Bilbatterier AB (Batteribolaget), a specialised distributor of batteries, chargers, power supplies and accessories.

The company was founded in 1961 and has ten employees with annual sales of approximately 70 MSEK.

Acquisition of Batteribolaget

Ahlsell’s product range, market presence and extensive offering are available

Batteribolaget offers one of the widest product ranges on the market, which includes industrial and alarm batteries, vehicle, leisure and lithium batteries, solar cell packages for caravans and motorhomes as well as chargers and accessories. The head office and central warehouse are located in Malmö, with sales offices and local warehouses in Karlstad and Laholm.

The acquisition gives Ahlsell access to high-level expertise and a wide range of products within batteries and storage, which is an important part of society’s green transition.

Ahlsell’s broad product range, strong market presence and extensive offering are made available to Batteribolaget’s customers. Closing is expected to take place in February 2024.
