Maritime services trade associations
The Maritime Battery Forum was established in April 2014 by 30 forward-looking companies, research institutions and governmental organisations. The forum is a meeting place, for exchange of knowledge based on experiences from the usage of batteries within the shipping, oil and offshore industries.

The Swedish Club is a mutual, a non-profit-making organisation. Established in 1872, the Club is owned and self-managed and under the direct control of its members.
The Workboat Association is the trade, skills and safety standards association for the workboat industry. Since its inception in 1994, the association has acted as a crucial point of liaison between its membership and key regulatory and industry bodies, such as the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA).
On May 12, 1991, with the approval from the State Council, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone was established in the seaport area of Tianjin Port; on October 15, 2002, the municipal Party committee of Tianjin approved the development and construction of Tianjin Airport Economic Area, so Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone was further expanded.

U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) support the technical aspects of America's maritime transportation infrastructure, such as ships and shipping, port and vessel operations, national security, environment, and safety. They promote the use of waterborne transportation, and ensure that its infrastructure integrates seamlessly with other methods of transportation. Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association (ZESTAs) is an international organization constituted as a non-profit trade association. Zero Emissions means zero GHG emissions at the point of use on the vessel with minimal upstream impacts. By combining zero-emission technologies, it achieves zero emissions at a shipboard level faster.
