Vessul, the most advanced crew travel management tech for marine and energy, has partnered with Blue Marine Foundation (BLUE), a charity dedicated to restoring the ocean to health for everyone, forever.
“Vessul’s connection to the ocean and all it provides runs deep, which is why our partnership with BLUE is so incredibly important to us as a company,” said Vessul COO Neil Ruth.
Generating revenue
“As a corporate partner of BLUE, Vessul is committed to supporting the charity’s core mission to see at least 30 percent of the world’s ocean under effective protection and 70 percent managed responsibly by 2030.”
“We fully intend to develop and expand this partnership and are investigating tools that could generate a consistent revenue stream to support the essential environmental work BLUE is undertaking.”
Raising marine awareness
Vessul and TapTrip is committing a percentage of its bottom line to support our underwater world"
Sara-Jane Skinner, head of partnerships at BLUE, added, “I’m delighted that new companies like Vessul, who are reliant on the ocean for business, are putting support systems in place to help protect the marine environment, both financially and by helping raise awareness among their peers, from the get-go.”
“The team behind Vessul and TapTrip is committing a percentage of its bottom line to support our underwater world, and for that I commend them. I look forward to growing the partnership and working with them over the coming years.”
Ease of use and reliable bookings
Following a successful three-month Beta programme, award-winning travel business TapTrip officially launched Vessul on 28 October at the Museum of Liverpool and is onboarding several global TMCs who operate in the marine energy sector. “98% of marine and energy travel bookings are made offline while navigating complex offshore operations, increasing costs, and changing travel plans."
"Travel bookers suffer as a result of fragmented processes and increasing inefficiency, spending hours planning to avoid disruption to operations,” added Neil Ruth. “Vessul’s transparency, level of detail, reliability, and ease of use empowers travel bookers to save valuable time and ensures crews have everything they need to get where they need to go. It’s quicker, easier, and safer than anything that’s gone before.”
