The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) continues its work of training port managers within the framework of the ‘Train For Trade’ port management programme, which is organised by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Álex Sánchez, the Head of PCS Systems at the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), delivered the Digital Port Management module in Makassar (Indonesia), in which he explained the projects and tools that Valenciaport is developing in the field of digital transformation.
PAV develops ValenciaportPCS
In this regard, it should be noted that the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) has developed ValenciaportPCS, one of the first technological platforms or port community systems in the world.
This tool is used by around 1,100 companies and public bodies operating in the ports of Valencia, Sagunto and Gandia, in Spain. Every day, it manages more than 300,000 messages exchanged.
