Finding a project freight forwarder users can trust to handle the oversized or hard-to-move cargo is more critical now in 2022 than ever before. With new challenges around global shipping and varying COVID-19 laws and guidelines per region or per country, having a hands-on, experienced team is a key asset in project planning.

TGI Cargo pride itself on being not just a service provider to clients but a true end-to-end partner, working with users to find tailored solutions for their freight needs. Following is what the clients love about working with TGI Cargo:

Hands-on experience (decades of it!)

The TGI Cargo team brings over 30 years of experience in freight forwarding, both in Australia and globally. What does that mean for the clients? It means that there isn’t a problem that we can’t fix.

With decades of projects under our belt, stretching across war zones and difficult-to-reach locations, no challenge is too big or too small for our team, and we love working closely with users every step of the way to ensure the project runs smoothly.

A personalised touch

The dedicated team member will be available 24/7 throughout the move, ready to respond to any challenges

TGI know how frustrating it is to feel like users are being passed around to various contacts or departments, not knowing who they can talk to directly about their needs and concerns. That’s why TGI has dedicated staff assigned to a project who will be there with users every step of the way. The team at TGI Cargo loves what it does, and prides itself in the great relationships that it has with customers.

The dedicated team member will be available 24/7 throughout the move, ready to respond to any challenges that arise and users can tailor TGI's contact to their needs; whether users would prefer continuous updates, or whether users would rather TGI run with the project on their behalf and just give milestone updates, the team will tailor the experience to the requirements.

The end-to-end treatment

Freight forwarding with TGI Cargo is a door-to-door experience; a project doesn’t begin at the shipping yard and neither does TGI.

The team will assist in getting users' orders packed up correctly, complete with all required documentation, picked up from the factory and onto a truck, loaded onto a ship, delivered to the port, and transported to the drop-off point.

Expert Guidance

With TGI's innovative tracking systems, users can monitor the progress of the shipment on the sea, so they can sit back and relax knowing that their entire movement is in the right hands.

TGI Cargo not only manages the details of users' specific move but also have expert guidance from local and federal governments around the globe to ensure that TGI carefully follows the policies and direction of local authorities, including all relevant documentation including Australian and International standards and requirements, customs and quarantine documentation and tariff payment reduction.

Singular or multimodal logistic solutions

They coordinate loading and unloading at each transition point, port supervision, and marshaling

Many customers have complex logistic needs, encompassing sea, road, air, and rail. Unsure of what would be the best logistical solution for a user project? TGI's specialised project managers partner with users from pick up to delivery, to find the ideal route and mode or modes of transport for their unique business needs.

They coordinate loading and unloading at each transition point, port supervision and marshaling and any cargo storage needed throughout the process. With continuous contact, they can provide steady updates on the progress of users' moves at every stage.

Safety and compliance – not just a box to tick

TGI team is continuously seeking out and achieving higher standards of compliance, both in Australia and internationally. It is vigilant in ensuring that it meets all the QHSE standards expected in international logistics and has met and passed ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation and the AS 4801 Health and Safety standard.

TGI's safety and risk policy was developed concerning the relevant Australian/New Zealand risk management standard AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 and users can read all about TGI's other policies such as environmental policy, COVID-19, and BioHazard response and customer engagement policy on our website. Or, better yet, talk to the friendly team. TGI would love to chat through the policies, and how they ensure a professional and responsible service for the business.
