RCL is pleased to announce the launch of its new Port Klang (West Port) – Port Klang (North Port) – Calcutta – Port Klang.
Branded as ‘RCH8’, the service will deploy two vessels i.e. the Ora Bhum (628 TEU) and the Chana Bhum (750 TEU) in an 18-day rotation on this service.

The maiden voyage will commence with the Ora Bhum 411N on the 16 March 2019 from Port Klang (West Port, followed by the Chana Bhum 001N on the 25 March 2019 also from Port Klang.
According to Mr. Charlie Chu, EVP Business “RCL is already involved in the Indian main port trades through our cooperation with partners. This is an important milestone for RCL as it marks our second entry into the smaller feeder type ports in India, after Tuticorin.”
