PARAT's modern IEH High Voltage Electrode Boilers are the world's leading Power to Heat solution. New demands to reduce emissions on high-pressure steam production, guaranteed zero-load during grid regulation, and the flexible option to have one boiler with the possibility to deliver both hot water and steam have risen.

It has developed and tested the Electrode boilers with these new features, taking the electrode boiler technology up to the next level. PARAT has a complete quality range of clean electrical boilers from 500kW Low Voltage Boilers up to 60MW High Voltage Electrode Boilers for both steam and hot water.

Features

Does one need to reduce emissions from heat production? PARAT can deliver clean electrical boilers. It is a one-stop company for heat solutions.

1) High-pressure steam

The High-Pressure Electrode Boiler from PARAT can contribute to reducing NOx and emissions for large industrial companies, by replacing the fossil fuel boilers with clean Electrical steam production of up to 85 barg design pressure. This will be a major game-changer to decarbonise high-capacity steam production.

The boiler consumes zero power with the main switch still connected, being the superior solution for grid regulation

2) Zero-load

PARAT has developed a new solution to guarantee Zero-Load (patent pending) on its electrode boilers during standby. The boiler consumes zero power with the main switch still connected, being the superior solution for grid regulation.

3) Combined hot water and steam

The PARAT Electrode boiler can be delivered as a Combined Hot Water and Steam boiler in one unit (patent pending), with the automatic switch of heat mode. This makes the boiler super flexible for every heating plant with the need for both hot water and steam.

4) Offshore electrification

PARAT Halvorsen is playing an important part in the electrification of the North Sea and has received the first orders for the 2x12 MW Johan Sverdrup and 2x17 MW (EX) Edvard Grieg project. Both projects will be electrified from shore power and reduce emissions significantly.

PARAT will deliver complete turnkey skids, designed, manufactured, and assembled in Flekkefjord, Norway. It is a qualified supplier of Power to Heat with excellent solutions for EX-Certified outdoor installations on Platforms and FPSO vessels.
