The Norwegian Shipowners' Association has published updated Guidelines for ESG reporting in the shipping and offshore industries
Sustainability is becoming the business itself and is no longer a separate agenda. Companies need to re-think all parts of the business and redefine their strategy and operational processes that support long-term value.
The guidelines describe the current legal reporting requirements and do also provide recommendations on relevant standards and indicators so that the shipping companies can report on environmental, social and governance issues in the best possible way. The guidelines have been prepared by the Norwegian Shipowners' Association in collaboration with the Governance Group and a reference group of members.
