Maritime UK has partnered with National Careers Week to inspire the next generation of maritime workers. National Careers Week 2023 runs from 6-11 March and aims to empower students through providing free CEIAG resources to enable students to have more informed choices about their future career opportunities. The week also empowers educators and advisors, through the sharing of case studies and experiences. 

National Careers Week 2023 will see maritime celebrated on a dedicated day during the week. Providing information on the career options available for young people looking to explore the maritime sector. For the first time, maritime will be at the centre of career conversations across the UK.  

Promote maritime careers

Throughout the week Maritime UK and NCW will use the platform to promote maritime careers to schools and colleges across the UK with special events, resources and activities organised for educators to use with their learners.

In addition, volunteers signed up for Maritime UK’s Ambassador programme with Inspiring the Future will take part in dedicated NCW activities across the country.

Careers at Sea programme
