Heinen & Hopman announced that Teknotherm Marine España S.L. has landed its first new building contract. Teknotherm Marine España S.L. will deliver the complete HVAC – including installation work – on a suction dredger to be built by Nodosa Shipyard.
Build and Design
Nodosa Shipyard will build and design the 63.3 m dredger – called Omvac Catorce – for Canlemar. The Canlemar company is dedicated to carrying out all kinds of maritime works, such as deepening and maintenance dredging in ports and bays and the construction of docks. Omvac Catorce is the third dredger that Canlemar has ordered with Nodosa Shipyard.
Omvac Catorce will have a dredging capacity of 1200 m3 and a dredging depth of 30 m. The ship accommodates a crew of 10. The ship will comply with the IMO TIER III regulations of the International Maritime Organization, regarding the control and reduction of polluting and greenhouse emissions. With its adaptation to these regulations, this dredger will be able to navigate and operate anywhere in the world.
